United Would Love Fabregas But They Won't Get Him

Cesc Fabregas continues to be linked with a move away from Barcelona. The midfielder only rejoined the Catalan giants two years ago from Arsenal. If he were to leave and return to England would it mean that his time back in La Liga has been a failure?

Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement, David Moyes was named as his successor, Paul Scholes also brought down the curtain on his Manchester United career for the second and final time, and in other football news a certain Scouse lad who goes by the name of Wayne Rooney, once again stated his desire to leave the club, proving that lightening can strike twice in the same place, it's groundhog day.

Danny Welbeck Deserves His PFA Young Player Nomination

Despite some fine performances this season it would be fair to say that Danny Welbeck’s inclusion as one of six nominees’s for the PFA Young Player award has certainly raised a few eyebrows.

Many fans and pundits have been surprised to see Danny included as the forward has only scored once in the Premier League this season and hasn’t started anywhere near the same amount of games that the other nominees - excluding Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere – have.

Van Persie makes Arsenal look silly (Video)

Manchester United celebrated their 20th title win in style thanks to a hat-trick from Robin van Persie. The Dutchman joined the Red Devils from fierce rivals Arsenal last summer after becoming disillusioned with the direction the London club was taking and the lack of trophies won during his eight year spell at the club. As the final whistle was blown last night and the players started to celebrate, there was one player with a slightly larger smile than the rest; RVP could jump around with joy at finally collecting a league winners medal after so many years of goalscoring exploits going unrewarded.

United Have Their Trophy Back!

One more victory, one more precious three points, and what has seemed inevitable for weeks will become a reality. Manchester United have claimed the 20th top division crown, which has now given the club a two title lead over great rivals Liverpool.

And Manchester City may well return with a strong assault next season, but the hinted power shift from red to blue appears once again premature.

Van Persie Saves United As On Song Carroll Inspires West Ham

As Manchester United stumble to the title, the gap closing but maybe not fast enough for Manchester City to snatch it away again, the general play continues to disappoint.

Brilliantly consistent rather to consistently brilliant sums up United. A rather odd formation with Robin van Perfect on top of a midfield 5, emulating City, just didn't work.

Fergie Masterstroke Sees United Earn Comfortable Win At Stoke

As Manchester United lined up today to face Stoke City at the daunting Britannia Stadium, many were surprised to see the side being put out by Sir Alex Ferguson.

After a big gap, we saw Wayne Rooney being played as a mainstream central midfielder alongside Michael Carrick with Shinji Kagawa on the left and Antonio Valencia on the right. Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez started upfront for the away side.

Would Andy Carroll Be A Good Option For United?

So would a £17m Andy Carroll improve Manchester United?

It seems a ridiculous idea I know, but so did the purchase of Eric Cantona at the time. Of course nobody in their right mind would confuse the enigmatic, technically gifted Frenchman with the battering ram that is the ponytailed Geordie but consider for a moment the potential.
