La Liga club are once again eyeing Manchester United star who has been struggling for minutes at Old Trafford
According to The Sun, La Liga side Villareal have once again set their eyes on Manchester United star, Facundo Pellistri. The 22-year-old has struggled for minutes at Old Trafford.
The Uruguayan winger is no stranger to being away from the club and has previously completed two loan spells at Alaves. But Villareal however are looking to get Pellistri on a more permanent Arrangement.
There has also been some talk about a loan move to Sevilla or Nice. The 18-cap Uruguayan international could very well be out of time at Manchester United.
Amad Diallo being back in the lineup makes things even more difficult for Facundo Pellistri. He will undoubtedly struggle to get playing time if he sticks with the Red Devils.
Manchester United have been infamous for wasting talents in the past. The same could be repeated in this case. Ten Hag spoke on the matter a few months ago and said that the player needs to go from a bench player to a mainstay in the Starting XI.
However, despite his excellent showings, the Dutchman has been reluctant to call on him. Through 13 appearances this season, Pellistri has recorded one assist and has been excellent off the bench (Transfermarkt).

We have seen what Pellistri is capable of with the right opportunities. If Manchester United don’t start respecting his potential, they just might end up squandering it. A decision on the 22-year-old’s future will likely be made before the window is up.
