Prior to this season there were few people who had heard of Adnan Januzaj. Now though, he considered by many as the club’s most promising player and the shining light of their questionable season. There’s good reason to think that as well, and thinking about his age, his current ability and his potential, I honestly think that he can become one of, if not the, best in the world. Hear me out.
Throughout the season he has proven to be an experienced head on a young pair of shoulders. He has taken it upon himself to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and conjure something up that’ll put the opposition on the back foot, and he is thriving right now with that responsibility.
He has 19 Premier League appearances to his name and has scored three goals, but it has been his team-work and creativity that has impressed this term.
He has 20 key passes to his name and has had 19 shots, as well as completing 80% of his passes.
He is still only 18 and I am certain that he has a huge future ahead of him, and in my eyes if he can steer clear of injuries then he can replicate the sort of form Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed over the years.
