United's Cup Loss To Chelsea Highlights The Cracks Within Our Squad

Losing to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup Quarter final is no disgrace but from 2-0 up at home in the first game, losing 3 goals unanswered is of concern.

In both games the cracks that appeared are the faults that separate the very best from the nearly men, and I saw enough to know we have to fix some faults.

Van Persie Should Be Dropped In Favour Of Hernandez

Watching us play over the last fortnight or so starting from the disastrous night in Europe against Real Madrid to our unconvincing 1-0 win over managerless Reading at home has caused me stress which is typical in the business end of the season when supporting Manchester United.

But the thing I have been wondering over that time is why exactly is Robin van Persie starting for us?

Will The Real Wayne Rooney Please Stand Up?

As the buzzards gathered to pick clean the bones of the Rooney-Ferguson relationship last Tuesday night, it was appropriate and slightly poetic that the Buzzcocks rendition of 'should I stay or should I go ?' belted out over the Old Trafford loudspeaker before the team was announced, devoid of Wayne.

Champions League Exit Can't Hide United's March To Glory

Last Tuesday night I witnessed one of the best games I have ever seen in European Football as we were 1-0 up against Real Madrid, the 9 times winners of this illustrious competition and leading 2-1 on aggregate.

We were really in the ascendancy to push on and increase our lead to spearhead our charge of getting into the last eight of Europe's elite club competition.

Will RVP Get Back To Scoring Ways Against Chelsea?

Come Sunday Robin van Persie wouldn't have scored for exactly 4 weeks since we played and beat Everton 2-0 at home. His recent form is a bit of a weird one for me because since that game he has been firing complete blanks even though he has only played two lots of full 90 minutes both against Real Madrid.

United Look For The Treble Whilst Chelsea Await More Trouble

So Manchester United's route to repeating 1999 now includes Chelsea in the Cup, Real Madrid in Europe and Manchester City in the League. Winning will involve dispatching the Premier League and La Liga Champions and the European Champions, a pretty tough ask - on paper.

Rooney And Nani Frustrate As Giggs Destroys Fulham

As I predicted a Fulham team shorn of Danny Murphy, Andy Johnson, Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey came to Old Trafford in the FA Cup with one eye on their relegation fight and totally capitulated in one of the most one sided games I have seen this season.

Berba's Back But United To Brush Fulham Aside This Weekend

Do not adjust your set when you watch the game this week. It's not that the picture has frozen or that the slow motion switch was pressed when you say on the remote- it’s Dimitar Berbatov.

Mr Slow returns to Old Trafford to demonstrate his languid class as part of a rebuilt Fulham team that has taken a huge step backwards since they became a feeder club for Spurs.
