Manchester United are eyeing moves for two of Croatia’s 2022 World Cup heroes, Dominik Livakovic and Josip Juranovic, according to Sportske Novosti (h/t Express).

The Red Devils have ‘renewed their interest’ in the Dinamo Zagreb shot-stopper after his performances in Qatar as Zlatko Dalic’s team finished third. In the recent transfer window, the Old Trafford side were looking to bring the 27-year-old to the club.

On the other hand, the Celtic right-back is also on United’s ‘radar’. He is on the Red Devils’ shortlist in order to add competition for Diogo Dalot on the right-hand side of the defence.

Livakovic is in high demand at the moment. The Old Trafford side are not the only team interested in him. Even the 27-year-old’s current club have come to terms with the idea of him leaving in January.

Erik ten Hag is yet to decide on the future of David de Gea. The Spaniard also has Martin Dubravka serving as backup. However, the Slovakia international is expected to leave the club at the end of his loan spell.

De Gea has been in fine form for United in the last two campaigns. The 32-year-old has once again shown this season why he is amongst the best shot-stoppers in world football.

As for the right-back spot, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to leave the Red Devils in the coming months. The England U21 international has fallen down the pecking order, with Dalot being the first choice.

However, the Portuguese has started most of the matches for the Old Trafford side. But he evidently cannot be expected to feature in every game for the rest of the campaign.

Thus, Juranovic seems to be a wise option for the club to pursue. But will the club get the two Croatian superstars in the upcoming transfer windows? It remains to be seen.
